MSR Hubba Hubba NX
StanyWeight: 1,9 kgAn ultralight two-person tent that stands up to Patagonia and 30km treks.
Pros
- Ultralight for its size (1.95 kg including accessories)
- Excellent wind and rain resistance
- Two entrances and two vestibules
- Quick setup thanks to freestanding design
- MSR build quality
Cons
- Weaker breathability — dewy flysheet
- Higher price
- Drying without sun can be challenging
Why the MSR Hubba Hubba NX?
This tent was love at first sight for us. It's been with us on many adventures, including a trip to Patagonia, and on a 30km trek, you hardly notice you're carrying a luxurious shelter in your backpack.
MSR Brand Quality
In my opinion, MSR has superb quality products. Even in strong winds and persistent rain, the tent performed perfectly - no leaks, no bent poles, nothing.
Who is it for?
- Couples or solo travelers who want extra space
- Trekkers who care about every gram in their backpack
- Adventurers who face unpredictable weather
Minor Disadvantage
Ventilation could be better - the flysheet often gets dewy in the morning, and if you don't have sun, drying the tent can be challenging. But for us, it wasn't a deal-breaker.
